BABY BUMP PHOTOS

So, I have the absolute sweetest friends in the entire world. A close friend of mine, Eden, volunteered to take some baby bump photos for me, since I am so close to being done w/ this pregnancy. We met up on 9/17/08, 37 weeks pregnant, at the Manteo waterfront to take some photos. I had the best time and I know that I will truly cherish these pictures for the rest of my life! Thanks again Eden for everything!

Baby Kallie Update

So it was a sad moment on 9/11/08 because that was the day that I had my LAST ultrasound! It was so amazing to see how much our little girl has changed since the last photos where taken. While we where at the appointment we found out that at that time she was about 5lbs 12oz and that if we went up to the expected due date that she should be somewhere around 7 1/2lbs. I also have to say that she was not being the most cooperative that morning when we where trying to take her profile photo's...I had to move from side to side a couple of times to get her moving. Here are the pictures that we got this time.

September 11th, 2008 @ 36 Weeks

In this picture you can see the point of her nose and then on the side of her head you can see her ear.

The little round ball that you see is her hand right by her mouth.

Here is a picture of her cute fuzzy little head. The little white specs at the top of the picture next to the round ball is the hair on her head. Thank God she won't be bald like I was....bald till I was two!

The black dot inside the round figure on the right of the picture is one of her eyeballs. The photo is actually a side profile picture of her face.

Baby Bump Progression

So I noticed that the last time that I posted a picture of the baby bump was about a month ago, so the other day I decided to take some pictures of what I look like now. These where taken on September 9th, when I was 36 WEEKS pregnant!

On September the 3rd, Ryan and I decided to go to the beach and spend a little family time with Halie. My mom and little sisters also decided to join in on the fun. The day could not have been more perfect and we where fortunate enough to have a little shallow pool followed by a sandbar, which made for perfect surfing conditions for Halie and my sisters. Yes you read right, our dog Halie is an avid surfer and has been doing so since she was a couple of months old. I love to see how all of the spectators at the beach are in complete astonishment of this dog that surfs. What can I say, she was meant to be a part of our family! On this particular day, my little sister Isabel, who by the way is 7 1/2...will be 8yrs old in April!!!!, decided to try surfing for the first time and might I say she is quite the natural at it! Genna even gave it a try while we where there. Here are the pictures from the day.

Ryan taking Halie out.

She always takes the first ones a little slow.

Now she's ready!

Taking a little break by the water.

She was getting tired by now.

A day of fun in the sun can sure take a lot out of you!

Izzy's first time on a surfboard!

As with every first try...you have to wipe out.

She did not want to come in!

Genna (4yrs old) even tried it!

Updated House Photo's

Here are the updated photo's of the house after it was mostly done being painted. I will take some newer ones, since we now have our furniture. We just got our new range in yesterday and we are supposed to get our refrigerator in on next monday, 9/22...our 1yr wedding anniversary! Ryan seemed to find this amusing...and the perfect anniversary gift to me, which at this point I would have to agree. You never realize how little the tiny mini-fridges hold until you are trying to hold other things besides alcohol..haha. Any who...here are the pictures as promised in the last blog.

Our Laundry room/ 1/2 bath...I know it's a bit out there, but trust me once you see what we have done w/ it, you will agree that it goes perfectly!

Long Time No Blog

Hi Everyone,
I have been so busy lately that I have not had anytime to update our site and boy do I have lots to share with ya'll. As most of you all know, Ryan and I closed on our 1st house the middle of August and that is what has been taking up most of our time and energy lately, besides being an incubator for our unborn child...haha. Needless to say it has been an extremely long and tiring process that would not have been made possible without the help of our families. They have been there in the thick of it all helping us to scrub, paint, and whatever else has needed to be done and we are so thankful for all of their help! Thanks also to my little sisters who took it upon themselves to test out the swing set in the backyard for Kallie! We can't wait until it is completely finished, so that we can have a big housewarming party for all to see, which will also be able to double as a sort of introducing of our soon-to-be newest member of the Woodard family, our little girl, who is due to arrive around October 7th! So as you can see we have been extremely busy. Below are some of the before photos of the house; the next post will have some of the updated photos of what the house looked like after it was painted. I need to update those as well because a lot has changed since those where taken too! Hope you all enjoy the pictures.

The back of the house...I need to take a picture of the enormous backyard still!

Sorry Honey, but no one would ever believe that you where actually cleaning...and without gloves!

I was so proud of him for volunteering to clean on his own!

Poor Halie was exhausted after a long day of cleaning.
